Practice Philosophy
Hailing from Southern California, Dr. Khan is thrilled to finally provide patients with comprehensive care in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism.
Dr. Khan believes a successful patient-physician relationship hinges on effective communication, regard, and trust. He adheres to clinical guidelines published by the Endocrine Society and Association of American Clinical Endocrinology (AACE), providing thorough testing for relevant endocrine issues while refraining from excessive, unvalidated tests and therapies.
We understand this practice may not be the right fit for everyone. In order to provide the highest level of care, we review all new patient requests before scheduling. Kindly peruse our clinic policies, conditions we manage, and insurance list to ensure this is the right practice for you.
We do not offer Virtual or Telemedicine consultations at this time.
A note from Dr. Khan
I’m grateful to embark on this journey and start my practice as an Endocrinologist.
I’m passionate about Endocrinology, especially diabetes care. The convergence of technological advancements, lifestyle modifications, and novel medications has significantly improved the management of diabetes. I firmly believe that optimal control is achievable for all patients with the right guidance and mutual investment in treatment outcomes.
My mentors, colleagues, and I have encountered challenges stemming from the proliferation of online medical misinformation and prevalence of clinics purporting to be hormone specialists, often misdiagnosing and mistreating patients for financial gain. While recognizing the potential for traditional and integrative medicine to complement each other, I am steadfast in my commitment to apply evidence-based practices. To ensure alignment between myself and my patients, I am transparent about my guidelines based approach from the outset, so there are clear expectations between us.
I encourage patients to refer to the Endocrine Society Practice Guidelines found here:
